‘The Bachelor’ Season 26 Episode 6 Recap: The 2-on-1 Bachelor Nation Has Been Waiting For

Tonight’s episode of “The Bachelor” had Clayton questioning some of the ladies’ intentions.

The Dramatic 2-on-1 Date with Genevieve and Shanae

A true nail-biter each season, the 2-on-1 date involves two contestants going on one date but only one will come out with a rose.

Both Genevieve and Shanae were set to go on the 2-on-1 to the beautiful Niagara Falls this week. But as the date card said,”…into the falls your journey goes, only one comes out with a rose. I need to make a decision.”

Since Week Two, Shanae has been causing the most drama in the house; she’s been lying about other women, crashing dates, and even making extremely rude comments about another contestants mental illness. Her irrational behavior caused her to be isolated from the group, which is extremely understandable (and warranted) due to her harmful actions.

Despite everything, Shanae and Clayton still had a “strong” connection (we use the word “strong” very lightly). He would keep her week after week and send Shanae’s enemies home, fueling her ego and prompting more uncalled for behavior. Wherever Shane goes, drama follows, and this 2-on-1 was no different.

Shanae took her time with Clayton on the 2-on-1 to bad mouth Genevieve in an attempt to send her home. Calling Genevieve “two-faced” and a “bad actress,” Clayton then questioned Genevieve’s intentions after the nice talk they had right before.

After that conversation, Clayton goes to the women and grabs the rose. But right when audiences think he is going to hand it to someone, he stops. He questions Genevieve about the accusations made against her. Poor Genevieve is shocked and left wondering why he would even ask her a question like that after the talk they just had. But, she did answer him by saying, “No I am not an actress…” It left Clayton even more confused than before, which causes him to step away.

As Clayton comes back, audiences are holding their breath to see who he is going to choose. Celebrations erupted not only amongst the audience, but with the other women as well when Clayton finally chose Genevieve, which ultimately set the “shrimp queen” swimming back home.
