Did someone say “one-on-one’s?”
With three men going home this episode, getting a one-on-one date is crucial for making it to hometowns. Thurston begins the show by stating that she still isn’t sure who her final four will be, but wants to use the one-on-one dates this week to explore that.
Two men in the house (Mike P. and Brendan) still have yet to receive an intimate date with the Bachelorette herself… the pressure is on!
After reading out the date card, Greg Grippo received the private date with Katie once again…
The date begins with the couple embracing the traditional run and jump hug… cringe. They then proceeded to do activities in “Katie’s Place Market,” a spinoff of Katie’s hometown favorite “Pike’s Place Market.”

The two spend their day throwing fish at one another (strange), playing football, eating oysters, and of course, discussing their future together and meeting each other’s families. We know we’re not alone in thinking that Greg is a shoo-in for hometowns.
Katie and Greg end their date with dinner and a conversation about Greg possibly leaving the show. However, that doesn’t stop Katie, as she gave him a rose. The two topped the romantic evening by running into the pouring rain to kiss.
Although, Greg isn’t the only one this week with a chance at some alone time with the Bachelorette. Mike P. finally gets his chance to score some valuable time with Katie by receiving his first one-on-one date of the season.
Katie and Mike P. spend their date with Mrs. Cuddle Queen Jean. The cuddle instructor directs the couple to change into a comfortable outfits to feel free and cozy during the intimate activity.
The strange and awkward date took place in the middle of the woods, and they were asked to snuggle in specific positions in order to form a romantic connection. While completing the task, Mike P. brought up his close relationship with his mother to the cameras – making Bachelor Nation uncomfortable at home watching.
Things must have been too awkward for Katie to continue because she sends Mike P. home within the middle of their date. Once again, narrowing down her choices.
