‘The Bachelorette’ Season 19 Episode 2 Recap: Gabby and Rachel’s First Dates

THE BACHELORETTE - Ò1902Ó Ð Following last weekÕs shocking canceled rose ceremony, Gabby and Rachel surprise the 29 men left at the mansion by daring them to compete in a swimsuit pageant in order to earn one of six spots at the group date after-party. The next morning, Rachel takes off for her first one-on-one with a once-in-a-lifetime Zero-G Experience, followed by a surprise musical performance by Ashley Cooke and Brett Young. Then, after a helicopter ride above Los Angeles and a steamy hot tub session, Gabby begins to let her walls down during her own one-on-one. Back at the mansion, when bold assumptions are revealed at the cocktail party, Rachel and Gabby continue to prove to the men that they are in control of their own journeys on an all-new episode of the ÒThe BacheloretteÓ airing MONDAY, JULY 18 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia have taken the first steps in their journey of finding love as they share the role of Bachelorette. In the first episode, the girls decided to postpone their first rose ceremony. They did this because they felt they had not spent a proper amount of time with all the men and wanted to give them a fair shot.

Well, Bachelor Nation did get to see more of the men’s personalities as they took on pageants, one-on-ones, and of course drama. In this episode, fans will see the girls starting to take a liking toward the same men. Having two bachelorettes is new territory, and it looks like both Gabby and Rachel don’t want to step on one another’s toes.

The Bachelorettes are showing that they know what they want in a future husband and are making it clear to all the men in the house. The first rose ceremony of the season ends up sending about half of the men packing as Gabby and Rachel continue their journey to find love.
