‘The Bachelorette’ Season 19 Episode 2 Recap: Gabby and Rachel’s First Dates

THE BACHELORETTE - Ò1902Ó Ð Following last weekÕs shocking canceled rose ceremony, Gabby and Rachel surprise the 29 men left at the mansion by daring them to compete in a swimsuit pageant in order to earn one of six spots at the group date after-party. The next morning, Rachel takes off for her first one-on-one with a once-in-a-lifetime Zero-G Experience, followed by a surprise musical performance by Ashley Cooke and Brett Young. Then, after a helicopter ride above Los Angeles and a steamy hot tub session, Gabby begins to let her walls down during her own one-on-one. Back at the mansion, when bold assumptions are revealed at the cocktail party, Rachel and Gabby continue to prove to the men that they are in control of their own journeys on an all-new episode of the ÒThe BacheloretteÓ airing MONDAY, JULY 18 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Gabby Flies High on Her First Date

After Rachel’s first date, Bachelor Nation was left wondering if Gabby’s date would end the same way. Gabby decided to take Nate on her first date, where she surprised him with a helicopter ride over Los Angeles. The two landed where a hot tub was waiting for the couple, where they shared a romantic kiss.

Over dinner, Nate shared how he is a father to a six-year-old girl. Gabby got emotional as he talked about his daughter because she felt their relationship was similar to Gabby and her father. Nate shared how he can see a life with Gabby.

After the two shared the conversation, Gabby decided to give the rose to Nate. The two shared another kiss as they danced the night away.
