New Music Friday: Kings of Leon, Post Malone, Morgan Wallen, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, More Release New Music – May 10, 2024

Happy New Music Friday!

At the top of our list this week, Kings of Leon released what may be a top contender for album of the year.

Can We Have Fun is the band’s latest release and was produced by new collaborator Kid Harpoon who is known for working with Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine, Calvin Harris and more. This release sends KOL in a new direction and we cannot stop listening to it as we prepare for their upcoming tour beginning in June. Be sure to check out a full list of dates at kingsofleon.com.

“It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of. It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable. I love it when a rock band is not embarrassed to admit that every song doesn’t have to be on 11,” Caleb Followill and drummer Nathan Followill collectively said in a statement.

Post Malone and Morgan Wallen are also at the top of our playlist this week. Their long-awaited banger “I Had Some Help” is finally out after teasing a collaboration for a little while now as the hip hop artist has been dabbling in country music more and more. This is the song of the summer.
