From co-stars to lovers, Tom Holland and Zendaya made their relationship official this past week (September 1) after Holland posted a celebratory birthday post for the actress.
The two first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2016, where they instantly connected. Soon after in 2017, they began to spark dating rumors after looking extremely comfortable with each other while doing the press tour for the flick. However, they were both so quick to shut down these rumors with their witty senses of humor. The Dune actress tweeted, “Wait wait…my favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven’t been on a vacation in years”.

A couple of years later, those rumors surrounding “Tomdaya” were soon squashed when Zendaya was supposedly seen out with Jacob Elordi in late 2019, and in early 2020 when a photo was released of Elordi kissing his Euphoria costar. These rumors soon dissipated when Elordi was seen dating model Kaia Gerber.
As for Holland, the Cherry actor made it official with London-based actress – known for her roles in The Spanish Princess and Doctor Who – Nadia Parkes. The two made their relationship Instagram official in the summer of 2020, after quarantining together months earlier before. Even though the relationship was mostly kept out of the spotlight, it’s rumored that they ended their relationship amicably.
Relationship gossip about Holland and Zendaya came back into the radar in July of 2021 after the two were spotted packing on the PDA in Holland‘s car while driving around LA. The two were also spotted looking smitten at a friend’s wedding.
Although the two haven’t officially confirmed the relationship, it seems that Holland calling Zendaya , “My MJ” says otherwise. In the post, the two co-stars are seen embracing with the caption, “My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx.” Zendaya was quick to comment “Calling now” with a red heart emoji. If this doesn’t confirm that the actors are definitely an item, then we don’t know what does. We guess that we’ll have to wait and see what else they share.
