Nicole Kidman and Hulu’s “Nine Perfect Strangers” Trailer is Officially Here (WATCH)

Though we do not have a release date yet, the first trailer for Hulu’s new miniseries Nine Perfect Strangers has officially dropped and it looks wild!

Nicole Kidman leads the cast as Masha, the owner of mind and body retreat Tranquillum House, which welcomes – you guessed it – nine new guests for a transformative experience. Amongst the cast is Melissa McCarthy as romance novelist Frances, Regina Hall as single mother Carmel and Luke Evans as divorce lawyer Lars.

Upon everyone’s arrival, the ten-day retreat gets off to a rocky start and consistently gets weirder as everyone taps into their past. If you have read the novel of the same name, you know that the climax gets very intense and is a page-turner. These episodes better premiere all at the same time because it will be a hard wait if they do not.

The trailer is immediately unsettling cutting in between shots of the characters and shots of objects. Hall’s Carmel looks immediately moved by Kidman’s Masha and there is one shot of everyone that looks like they are laying in dugout graves. Samara Weaving’s Jessica looks extremely uncomfortable, and she should be.

The show comes from creators David E. Kelley and John Henry Butterworth and is based on the book by Liane Moriarty. Kelley, Kidman and Moriarty previous collaborated on Big Little Lies and Kelly and Kidman also worked on The Undoing together last year. Based on those prior relationships, this show is sure to be fantastic.

Well this does not look great for those involved. | Source: Hulu
