In an attempt to promote his new music, singer Lil Nas X got his phone taken away by his label!
The artist uploaded a video on his YouTube channel titled, “my label took my phone again 🙁 …..,” and honestly, we think the video was so low quality, it doesn’t even hit 144p!
In the 30 second video, Lil Nas X revealed to his fans that there was “good news and bad news.” The bad news is that his label took away his phone and the good news is that his new song “Call Me By Your Name” will be dropping on March 26th.
The singer also asked fans to get the song to at least 100k pre-saves so that he could drop the music video at the same time the song releases!
Some people didn’t really like the way that Lil Nas X was promoting his music and calling it a “desperate” attempt. The artist took to Twitter to call out those people, telling them “I do not mind being desperate when it comes to my dreams.”
i hate when people tell me i’m desperate for how i promote my music. like yes bitch i am desperate, i do not mind being desperate when it comes to my dreams.
