Travis Kelce is headed to late night television!
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been named the host for the March 4th episode of Saturday Night Live and will be joined by musical guest Kelsea Ballerini.
While on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon last night (February 16), Kelce made the big reveal.
“Growing up I was a huge Farley, Farrell, Fallon kind of guy growing up and I used to watch SNL with my mother,” he told the late night talk show host. “Its an absolute honor and a privilege to be hosting Saturday Night Live on March 4.”
“I am so nervous for this,” he added.

Kelce is coming off a historic season in which he won his second Super Bowl ring, along with becoming second all-time in receiving touchdowns in NFL postseason history. Aside from his star-studded actions on the field, Kelce has also become an Internet sensation due to his funny personality and signature “you have to fight for your right to party, ” which comes from the famous Beastie Boys song with that same title.

As for Ballerini, the country music beauty has been in the news recently due to her recent romance with Outer Banks star Chase Stokes. The couple made their “public debut” during the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship, as reported here on Celeb Secrets.
Ballerini is also appearing on The Judds Final Tour for select show dates.
Something of note, Kelce will become the 34th athlete to host an episode of Saturday Night Live, with the most recent athlete appearing on the show being recently retired NFL pass rusher JJ Watt.
