After much anticipation, Trevor Tordjman is finally back on our TV screens. And this time, he’s got a new role on BUNK’D!
The multi-talented actor, who you may remember from Zombies and Zombies 2, announced that he was joining the cast of the highly popular sitcom as Parker Preston back in August.
I’m so pumped to be apart of ‘BUNK’D,'” Tordjman tells Celeb Secrets over a Zoom call. “When I first heard [the news], I hopped on Disney+ to watch it and I was like, ‘this is going to be so much fun. These kids are so funny.’ I was bursting out into laughter and I’m so excited to be apart of it.”

According to Disney Channel, Parker is a witty charmer with an inherent likeability, despite the cocky demeanor he’s picked up as a member of an ultra-wealthy family. It turns out he’s the only Preston who cares about a deed giving descendants of great-great-grandfather Preston a 15 percent stake in Camp Kikiwaka.
Now, Parker shows up at Kikiwaka determined to implement over the top ideas to make the camp overwhelmingly successful, but it quickly becomes clear that he’ll butt heads with Lou (played by Miranda May) over what success looks like.
“You’re going to see a lot of growth from Parker [this season]. I’m really excited to have a character that gets this arc that you get to see grow,” Tordjman shares. “There’s a lot of really cool themes in ‘BUNK’D’ — it’s all about friendship and teamwork, and they touch on those themes a lot. It’s fun to watch Parker out of his element — he’s gotten everything he’s wanted in his life, comes from a rich family, has never had to really rough it out at all — and he goes to this camp and they’re like, ‘hey, grab a shovel.’ So it’s fun to see him out of his element and there’s going to be a lot of growth in him.”

In addition to the introduction of Parker, season five shows Destiny (played by Mallory James Mahoney) taking on more responsibilities while she pursues her newly discovered passion for protecting the environment. Matteo (played by Raphael Alejandro) impresses his fellow campers with his professor-level scientific expertise and Finn (played by Will Buie Jr) continues to charge fearlessly into adventures. Although Ava (played by Shelby Simmons) and Noah (played by Israel Johnson) have gained confidence in their second year as counselors, Lou soon presents them with a daunting challenge: supervising the new “PeeWeeWaka” day campers, a fast-moving pack of energetic eight-year-olds who always keep them on their toes.

Celeb Secrets had the opportunity to sit down with Trevor to talk learn more about his new character Parker, what it was like joining a show that’s been on the air for five seasons, and his favorite memories from filming with Miranda, Mallory, Raphael, Will, Shelby and Israel. He also tells us who he’d love to come visit Camp Kikiwaka and *spoiler alert* — it includes some of his former cast mates from ZOMBIES.
