Before even stepping foot inside the festival grounds, one thing was clear: Urban Decay understood the assignment for Weekend 1 of Coachella 2026.
The iconic beauty brand rolled into the desert with a full-on glam takeover, making sure festivalgoers stayed locked, loaded, and luminous from sun-drenched day parties to celebrity-packed after-hours. Between surprise glam sessions, product drops, and an A-list appearance from Barbie Ferreira, Urban Decay proved that festival beauty is officially having its main character moment in 2026.
And yes — Celeb Secrets was there to see it all IRL.

We stopped by the brand’s activation at the 818 Outpost on Friday, April 10, where Urban Decay was showing off some of its biggest beauty heroes — including the cult-favorite All Nighter Setting Spray ($34), the ultra-versatile 24/7 Liquid Stick ($26), and the viral-ready Tube Job Tubing Mascara in Black ($25). Between the glam touch-ups and desert photo ops, the booth quickly became one of the most buzzed-about beauty stops of the day.
But the real moment? That belonged to Barbie.
When Ferreira pulled up to 818 Outpost, she delivered a dreamy lavender-inspired glam moment that instantly turned heads. The look, created by celebrity makeup artist Alexandra French, was whimsical, flirty, and radiating confidence. Think soft glow, purple halo eyes, and juicy glossed lips that practically scream festival season.
Even better? French broke down exactly how the look came together, and let’s just say it’s the perfect blueprint for anyone heading to Weekend 2, Stagecoach, or their next summer concert lineup.

For Barbie’s radiant base, French leaned into the “sun-kissed but better” aesthetic — the kind that looks like you’ve been dancing all afternoon but somehow still glow like a filter.
“I applied the Face Bond Blush in the shade Wholehearted over her cheeks and a little over the bridge of her nose for a cute sundusted moment,” French shared. “Then I set that with the All Nighter Glow Setting Spray.”
The result? Fresh, flushed skin that looked effortless but stayed locked in through the desert heat.
Behind those festival-ready shades was arguably the most mesmerizing part of the look: a lavender halo eye that balanced dreamy shimmer with a subtle edge.
French started by applying Starry Haze from the Moondust Quad ($39) palette before layering Glaze-On Liquid Eyeshadow in Frost Boss ($26) to create a glowing halo effect in the center of the eye.
From there, she added even more sparkle and depth.
“Using a dense brush, I dusted Moondust in Solar Drip in the inner corners and under brows. I tapped Moondust in the shade Rock Solid over the eyelid to enhance the purple.”

To give the look its festival-ready definition, French used the 24/7 Liquid Stick in Fluid Fig ($26) to sketch a soft wing before diffusing it out. Then she added 24/7 Liquid Stick in Denim Wash ($26) along the bottom lash line for a subtle pop of blue, making it playful, dimensional, and very Coachella-coded.
To complete the glam, French focused on two essentials every festival look needs: statement lashes and glossy lips.
Barbie’s lashes were coated in Tube Job Tubing Mascara ($25), giving them lift and definition that holds up through sweat, heat, and dance breaks.
For the lips, French lined them with 24/7 Lip Liner in Stark Naked ($25) before topping everything off with the brand’s brand-new Lip Toy ($24) staining gloss in Fresita.
“These are staining glosses,” French said. “I am in love with these.”
The result? Plush, juicy lips that look glossy but leave behind the perfect tint once the shine fades.
Of course, no Urban Decay glam moment would be complete without the brand’s holy grail setting spray.
French finished the look with All Nighter Setting Spray ($34), ensuring Barbie’s makeup stayed fresh through the desert heat, festival crowds, and after-party chaos. And after seeing it in action at the Outpost ourselves? Let’s just say the misting moments happening around the festival were very real.

818 Outpost was only one piece of Urban Decay’s Coachella Weekend 1 domination. Throughout the desert, the brand kept the energy going with their Urban Decay Mobile, which popped up at influencer hotels and Airbnbs with surprise glam sessions and product drops; their Guerrilla Glam Moments inside the actual festival, where ambassadors were misting the All Nighter Setting Spray to attendees while giving them beauty essentials to keep makeup locked all day and night; and the “All Nighter Lounge” at the coveted Pizza Slime x REVOLVE after party, making the area the perfect late-night glam refresh station.
After experiencing the activation ourselves (and leaving with a few beauty goodies we’re already packing for our next event), one thing’s clear: Urban Decay is the brand for festival glam this season.
