Sources: #Commanders owner Dan Snyder and #76ers and #Devils owner Josh Harris have now reached an agreement on a sale to Harris’ group for $6.05B. It is not exclusive and not signed. But Harris appears to have won the bidding and a finalized sale is expected if all goes well. pic.twitter.com/80kxzeH7mG

This sale has long been in the news due to the many allegations against Snyder, including sexual assault toward Commanders cheerleading squad members. Snyder has long been an unpopular figure in the football world, and now, many fans are celebrating regardless of being a fan of the Commanders.
A little background on some of the new owners of Washington’s team, Magic Johnson is one of the greatest NBA players ever. Johnson is a five-time champion, twelve-time all-star, and earned three regular season and finals MVP awards apiece. Since retiring, Johnson has done an incredible job as a businessman, including being a part owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks, Los Angeles FC, and now, of the Washington Commanders.
If/when made official, Magic Johnson will have ownership stakes in…

As for Harris, he is one of the most successful businessmen in the world as his net worth is currently at around $6 billion; Harris, like Johnson, is also a part owner of multiple sports franchises, the 76ers, New Jersey Devils, Crystal Palace F.C., and now, the Commanders.
All in all, this is a great day for sports fans, especially Commanders fans, as their team is now in good hands, and better days are ahead for the football franchise in the nation’s capital.
