Willow Smith’s New Album “lately I Feel EVERYTHING” Out July 16

The Smith family might be one of the most iconic and influential families in the entertainment industry, and Willow Smith has just proved that statement again.

As if her “Red Table Talk” talk show grabbing the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Informative Talk Show in June wasn’t enough, the 20-year-old singer is gearing up to drop her next full-length studio album, lately I Feel EVERYTHING.

After already dropping a single from the album called Lipstick, Willow plans to drop the full album tomorrow, July 16.

Following her last studio album in March 2020, The Anxiety, a Tyler Cole collaborative album, Willow has produced a change of pace with her new music. Historically known for her pop and R&B sound, she has moved into a more pop-rock framework with this album.

Willow introduced her rock side in April when she released “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l” with blink-182’s Travis Barker, and now we get an entire album of her pop-punk soul come July 16.

Willow is excited about this new sound, as she told V Magazine. She opened up to them about her feelings towards her next project and where some inspiration came from. “Being a Black woman in the metal crowd is very, very different on top of the pressures that the music industry puts on you,” she described. “Now, it’s like an added pressure of the metal culture, the metal world, and just rock in general. I used to get bullied in school for listening to Paramore and My Chemical Romance.”

Aside from Barker, Avril Lavigne is expected to be featured on her next project. Don’t miss her next project, out tomorrow!
