You’ll Tear Up Watching These Celebs Read Their Kind Instagram Comments

Social media can be this wonderful place where you can connect with people all over the globe, discover new passions, and share memories with your friends. But, as we probably don’t even need to tell you, it’s unfortunately also a place where bullies can come out full force and say the rudest and most awful things from behind the safety of their screens. If you’ve ever gotten a mean comment on any of your posts, you know that even one nasty statement can shake your confidence and drown out all of the other nice messages on your page.

No one knows this fact better than celebrities, who can sometimes get as many hateful messages from cyberbullies as they get motivational well-wishes from adoring fans. Now, many of your favorite stars are joining together to prove that kind messages have the power to be a million times bolder than the mean ones, and partnered up with Instagram to share specific examples and uncover the true potential of kindness on social media.

Today, the official Instagram account posted a moving video featuring Girl Meets World actor Corey Fogelmanis reading off one of the most inspiring comments he came across on his own feed.

Yes, we are officially tearing up.

As part of the same project, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn actress Kyla-Drew Simmons also shared a compilation video on her own account, featuring her own clip, along with beautiful words from many more of your favorite web stars, actors, and singers like Baby Ariel, Benjamin Flores Jr., Kristen Hancher, Justin Blake, Trevor Moran, James Charles, and Devin Druid.

It doesn’t just apply to celebrities! These messages not only prove that you can brighten someone’s day by sharing kind and positive words, but you make so much bigger of an impact when you spread the light.

Make sure to check out these stars’ videos and let us know how you feel about them by sharing your own reactions below. And if you’re interested in posting your own #KindComments roundup on Instagram, make sure to use the hashtag so others can find them!
