2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards – Nominees List

The nominees have been announced for the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards today and the competition is pretty heavy this year.

Some of music’s biggest icons are up for multiple awards, including Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled and The Chainsmokers.

The show has a broad array of categories for the fifth annual ceremony, including Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Best Duo/Group of the Year and individual winners for Album of the Year in music’s biggest genres, including Pop, Country, Alternative Rock/Rock, Dance, Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin and Regional Mexican formats. “We’ve expanded the iHeartRadio Music Awards categories each year to ensure it accurately reflects the tastes of the millions of listeners on our broadcast radio stations and on the iHeartRadio app,” said Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer for iHeartMedia. “We’ve been thrilled with the response from both fans and artists and we can’t wait to celebrate the year in music by honoring its biggest songs and moments.”

Last year, Justin Timberlake’s “CAN’T STOP THE FEELING!” snagged Song of the Year, Adele won Female Artist of the Year, Justin Bieber for Male Artist of the Year, The Chainsmokers for Best New Artist presented by the all-new Subaru Impreza®, twenty one pilots for Best Duo/Group of the Year and Coldplay for Best Tour. In addition, Bruno Mars received the most prestigious award of the evening – the 2017 iHeartRadio Innovator Award – in recognition of his unparalleled contribution to popular culture and the music industry.
