Coachella 2026‘s main grounds may have seemed like the place to be, but some of the weekend’s most buzzed-about moments actually happened beyond the festival gates.
On April 10, 2026, NYLON House in the Desert returned with an exclusive late-night celebration at a private estate in Palm Desert, turning the desert into a curated playground for artists, creators, and industry insiders. Presented by Matrix, the event unfolded just hours after Sabrina Carpenter‘s set wrapped, drawing a high-profile crowd and reaffirming its status as one of the most in-demand invitations of festival weekend.
The Celeb Secrets team attended the invite-only gathering, experiencing firsthand the immersive environment that has become synonymous with NYLON’s desert events. From the entrance onward, the production emphasized atmosphere — layered lighting, design-forward installations, and branded activations that encouraged guests to explore rather than simply pass through.

The event’s turnout reflected its cultural reach. The 5,000+ guest list was filled with artists, celebrities, influencers, and tastemakers — including names like KATSEYE, Rauw Alejandro, Olivia Holt, Damson Idris, Big Sean, Karrueche Tran, Amber Rose, Ariana Madix, NAV, REI AMI, Rich the Kid, BINI, Chloe Cherry, Kelli Berglund, Michael Evans Behling, Murda Beatz, Nic Vansteenberghe, Noah Fearnley, Rickey Thompson, and Sophia Culpo — who moved throughout the space between the dance floor and VIP areas.
Music throughout the evening built steadily toward headline sets from Diplo and HUGEL, whose back-to-back performance kept energy levels high well into the early morning hours. Before the B2B, supporting DJs like Oliver Blank and Tinx & Lucas helped shape the flow of the crowd, transitioning the estate from lounge-style gathering to full-scale dance event. The sound design leaned heavily into house-driven rhythms, aligning with the late-night setting and giving guests a true festival-after-dark experience without being on the main grounds.

Beyond the celebrity sightings and DJ sets, NYLON House in the Desert leaned heavily into experiential brand moments, with sponsors transforming different areas of the estate into interactive destinations rather than traditional booths.
Matrix, the event’s presenting sponsor, anchored the beauty experience with its immersive Soft Launch installation, spotlighting the Food For Soft Hair Serum Oil ($34) through a multi-sensory setup that included elevated photo opportunities, product discovery, and on-site glam touches. The activation emphasized shine and texture in a way that aligned with both the brand’s identity and the Nocturna theme. One of the standout features was the Matrix Glambot station, which offered an engaging, game-inspired moment that encouraged guests to participate while exploring the brand’s festival-ready offerings. Spoiler alert: it was our favorite event of the evening.
Neutrogena® also brought a bold visual presence to the venue with a striking Hydro Boost Water Gel display, designed as a glowing, camera-ready focal point. The electric-blue installation reinforced the product’s hydration message while doubling as a social-friendly backdrop. Meanwhile, e.l.f. Cosmetics maintained the festival-ready energy with touch-up stations and giveaways centered around its Glow Reviver Melting Lip Balm, giving guests quick refresh opportunities throughout the night.
At the Sally Hansen salon space, nail artists provided streamlined manicures featuring seasonal shades from the Insta-Dri Flower Powder and Electric Feels collections. The setup allowed attendees to refresh their looks without leaving the event atmosphere, reinforcing the brand’s emphasis on speed and style.
Near the entrance, the Trident Tri-Different Lounge offered an interactive retreat complete with flavored cocktails, prize-wheel moments, and a listening bar designed to highlight discovery and new experiences. The space created a transitional environment between the high-energy dance floor and more relaxed networking areas.
Footwear brand Skechers also carved out a dedicated comfort zone, gifting Aero Burst sneakers and offering recovery-focused moments that resonated with guests navigating a full weekend of festival programming. The activation positioned comfort as part of the style conversation, especially relevant during Coachella season.

The beverage program matched the scale of the evening. A curated cocktail menu featured options such as Midnight Heat, a tequila-based drink with a spicy kick, and Pink Venom, a vodka-forward mix with citrus notes. Throughout the night, Pacifico, GHOST® Energy, and VOSS water kept guests refreshed, with embellished VOSS bottles quickly becoming a subtle accessory detail seen across the venue.
Additional experiential elements added to the playful atmosphere, including a Barbie-branded truck distributing themed merchandise and late-night food offerings from vendors such as Prince Street Pizza and Tailtations, ensuring the celebration carried through to sunrise.

As Coachella weekend evolves into a multi-location cultural moment, NYLON House still remains one of the events that consistently attracts artists and industry players in equal measure. By the time the night wound down, the estate had already delivered what NYLON has built its reputation on: a high-impact celebration that extends the festival conversation beyond the stage.
