Daniel Passino stole ourhearts and the show with his cover of “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” by The Temptations. He took this classic song and amped it up with his adorable dance moves and definitely showed his personality throughout the song.Miley CyrustoldPassinothat she knew who he was because she read and learned about him before coming to the show. He did not disappoint andput on a show to prove why he’s one to talk about; his vocals were solid and the last high note was killer and left viewersin awe. Unfortunately, he lost to fellow teammateAlisan Porter who slayed her battle performance with a cover of “River” by Joni Mitchell.Christinachose her to continue on.Porter nailed all of the thingsCyrusandAguileratold her to focus on andreally connected with her piece, which made her rise abovePassino.

The other battle that stood out wasPaxton Ingram againstAngie Keilhauer.Ingramcovered “Hometown Glory” byAdele.AngieKeilhauer has been one of our favoritesonTeam Blake for quite some time, but duringIngram’s performance it was apparent that he was going to take the crown for this battle. Sure enough, he took the crown and sentKeilhauerhome. He tookCyrus’ advice on every vocal change she recommended and it worked in his favor.Shelton knew he’d have a tough decision and it seemed as thoughhe was as torn after hearing both of their performances; he even went as far to say that both contestants were favorites on his team.Ingram staying is great forTeam Blakebecause he has so much soul and such a unique voice compared to his team he will really stand out compared to any other contestant on the show.
