WATCH: Laura Marano Talks New Music & Fangirls Over Taylor Swift

Earlier this month, Laura Marano announced that she was coming out with a new single! The track is called “La La” and is the official follow-up to her debut song “Boombox.”

Set to be released next Friday, August 25th, “La La” is another track off Marano’s yet-to-be-announced debut album via Big Machine Records.

When we heard the news about “La La,” we dug into our archives and found this never-before-seen and hilarious interview with Laura from the 2016 CMA Music Festival earlier this summer in Nashville, Tennessee. In the interview, the Disney Channel actress pretty much covered everything from participating in all of the CMA Fest activities, transitioning from acting to singing, and all of the success “Boombox” is bringing to hoping of collaborating with fellow label mate Taylor Swift.

The important part of the video is where she talks about picking her “new single” aka “La La” — she seems so proud of her work and excited for everyone to hear it. We can’t wait for “La La”next Friday!
