Coming after a long and serious awards season, the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards hit a high note tonight with its fan-voted awards. And there’s nothing better than fan-voted because the audience actually enjoys what wins.
Leslie Jones commanded the stage in a hilarious hosting gig and brought enough energy for the room and everyone at home. At one point, she mentioned she was tired, and it was easy to see why.

This awards show was the first since the pandemic started that had an audience that did not wear masks, which felt nice to see but almost a bit jarring. Even presenter Justin Hartley said how nice it was to see faces!
WandaVision dominated the awards winning a total of four Golden Popcorn awards, while To All the Boys: Always and Forever won Best Movie (and poor Lana Condor was cut off before she got to speak). You can view a full list of winners here.
