11 Best Moments of the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards

All the Sneak Peeks!!

2021 is bringing so many new movies and TV shows that we can’t wait for. And this awards show brought us the best sneak peeks of some of the most anticipated entertainment.

Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and stars Anthony Ramos, Melissa Barrera, Corey Hawkins and Leslie Grace presented a sneak peek of In the Heights, a film we’ve been waiting forever for since it was pushed back a year after movie theaters closed down. The clip showed the cast singing part of “Carnaval del Barrio,” and if the rest of the songs are like this, this film will be our new favorite musical.

Scarlett Johansson premiered a new clip from Marvel’s Black Widow at the end of her acceptance of the Generation Award, but more on that soon. The clip featured her and Florence Pugh trying to outdrive a foe.

With all the Marvel television wins of the night, it seemed only right to show a preview of the new Disney+ series Loki. Tom Hiddleston presented a clip featuring Loki as a prisoner riding in an elevator with Owen Wilson’s Mobius M. Mobius.

Horror favorites Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga joined virtually to show a clip from the latest film in the Conjuring series, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. We have been watching – and screaming at – these movies since 2013 and we are ready for more.

The action-packed Snake Eyes got its world premiere trailer presented by star Henry Golding. The new G.I. Joe film tells the origin story of team member Snake Eyes with Golding replacing Ray Park who portrayed him in previous films.
