Hands of Stone star Edgar Ramirez is taking his talents to Netflix as the headlining actor for the streaming giant’s upcoming series Florida Man.
Florida Man is coming to Netflix on April 13 and also stars Abbey Lee, Lauren Buglioli, and former Parks and Recreation star Paul Schneider.
Florida Man follows former cop Mike Valentine (played by Ramirez) as he heads to his home state of Florida on a mission to find a girlfriend (played by Lee) of a very dangerous mobster. This journey does not come easy for Valentine, but with the help of some fascinating individuals, such as his dad, Sonny (played by Anthony LaPaglia), Valentine continues to fulfill his goal of finding this woman and trying to stop one of the most prominent mob leaders in Florida.
Ramirez is known for starring in projects such as Hands of Stone, Yes Day, and Jungle Cruise and is most recently remembered for his role as Dr. Paulo Macchiarrini in Dr. Death. As for the rest of the cast, Lee is known for her role in Mad Max: Fury Road, Buglioli can be seen in the Netflix film A Jazzman’s Blues, and Schneider is mainly known for portraying the role of Mark Brendanawicz in the first two seasons of the beloved NBC workplace-comedy, Parks & Rec.
All in all, this is set to be a very entertaining series filled with lots of twists and turns.
