One of the biggest parades in the world — Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade — officially returned for a star-filled and musical packed event, which can often been seen as the unofficial kick-off to the holiday season.
Taking place in New York earlier today (November 25), The 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade featured appearances from Hoda Kotb & Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, Carrie Underwood, the cast of Six, Moulin Rouge, Wicked and Annie Live!, Darren Criss on the fantasy chocolate factory float, Jordan Fisher on the magic meets the sea float, Kelly Rowland on the christmas in town square float, Mickey Guyton on the winning winter together float, Sara Bareilles, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell & Busy Philipps on the birds of a feather stream together float, Jon Batiste on the celebration gator float, Aespa on the her future is stem-sational float, Nelly on the colossal wave of wonder float, Kim Petras on the rexy in the city float, Chris Lane on the Mount Rushmore’s American Pride float, Jimmie Allen on the harvest in the valley float, Andy Grammer on the everyone’s favorite bake shop float, Foreigner on the toy house of marvelous milestones float, Kristin Chenoweth on the deck the halls float, Rob Thomas on the heartwarming holiday countdown float, Tai Verdes on the big turkey spectacular float, Tauren Wells on the home sweet home float, Zoe Wees on the brick changer float, Josh Dela Cruz, Steve Burns, Donovan Patton on the Blue’s Clues & You! The 2021 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade aired live on Thursday at 9 a.m. on NBC, Telemundo and Peacock, with a tape delay for the West Coast.
