The biggest names in music are coming together for tonight to celebrate this year’s most memorable and best videos for one of the most jaw-dropping shows of all time — the 2022 MTV VMAs.
Taking place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. tonight (August 28), the official kick-off event for the MTV VMAs has a star-studded lineup of nominees, performers and presenters who are posing for photos and chatting with press in killer looks before the big show.
The red carpet includes a live TV special that showcases the glamorous arrival of the stars on the red carpet. The special, which kicks off at 6:30PM ET/PT on MTV, will be hosted by Nessa Barrett and Kevin Kenny with celebrity correspondent Tate McRae, and features retrospective red carpet fashion, jaw-dropping celebrity stage moments from VMAs past, and celebratory reviews of today’s biggest performers and nominees. The red carpet pre-show will also host three performances from Dove Cameron, MTV PUSH artist Saucy Santana and Yung Gravy,along with Kraft Singles House DJ DJ Murda Beatz, making it a must-see event for fans.
