Country music’s resident rebel Kip Moore is trading tour buses for burnout smoke as he gears up to headline the final show of the Busch Light Summer Music Series at Darlington Raceway on August 31, right before the Cook Out Southern 500 kicks off the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs!
That’s right — NASCAR’s most iconic Labor Day Weekend tradition is getting a gritty, full-throttle country music upgrade. Known for his raw vocals, no-frills attitude, and fan-favorite anthems like “Somethin’ ’Bout a Truck,” “Beer Money,” “Hey Pretty Girl” and “More Girls Like You,” Kip is set to bring the heat (and then some) to the “Track Too Tough to Tame” as part of Darlington’s 75th Anniversary celebration.

This show marks the grand finale of Busch Light’s first-ever summer concert series, following buzzy sets by ERNEST, Ashley Cooke, Zac Brown Band, and Corey Kent at tracks across the country. And there’s no better place to end it all than NASCAR’s Southern showdown in South Carolina.
While fans are soaking up the tunes, the drivers will be preparing for the first race of the NASCAR Playoffs, with the Sober or Slammer 200 kicking things off on August 30, and the Cook Out Southern 500 taking center stage the next night.
