After months and months of speculation, Aaron Judge has decided to remain in the Bronx and re-sign with the New York Yankees.
Judge’s deal is for nine years and is worth $360 million. The reigning American League MVP is coming off a 62-home run season, and Yankees fans are ecstatic to have their superstar back.

Before last season, Judge and the Yankees could not agree to an extension due to the Yankees not meeting Judge’s monetary aspirations, so throughout the season and then into the offseason, it seemed as if the likelihood of Judge’s days in pinstripes were numbered.
So Aaron Judge bet on himself & drew a full house! He was offered $213.5 million in April & agreed to $360 mill in December. That’s a $146.5 million difference. If you divide it over last year’s 162 game season – Judge racked up an extra 904,000 per game! What a bet! #Yankees

Several teams were interested in the four-time all-star; however, the only serious threat to the Yankees seemed to be the San Francisco Giants. With Judge being born in California and the Giants having a winning culture, many started to believe that Judge would be taking his talents to the Bay area.
The rumors of Judge becoming a Giant heated up on Tuesday due to MLB Network reporter Jon Heyman reporting on Twitter that Judge was heading to San Francisco; with that said, Heyman deleted the tweet, and thus, people realized Judge had still not made his decision.
Giants say they have not heard on Aaron Judge, My apologies for jumping the gun.

With that said, the Yankees will now look to do all they can to help elevate themselves to a contending level after several years of failing to succeed in the postseason.
