Billie Eilish fans were right to suspect that a new era from the pop star was coming after she unveiled her new platinum hair, as it looks like Eilish is dropping her new album, Happier Than Ever, on July 30.
The Grammy-winner announced her second album, Happier Than Ever, today after fans had spotted billboards with the album title and release date across different cities after Eilish had posted a teaser on her socials yesterday.
A 15-second video clip of a new song was posted on her social media accounts, where Eilish is sitting in a chair with her back to the camera, as a stripped-back melody is playing.

She then took to her Instagram today to share the news that she was actually dropping her new project this summer and would also be releasing a new song, presumably the title track that she teased yesterday, on April 29 at 9 AM ET.
“This is my favorite thing I’ve ever created and I am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” the star shared on her Instagram, along with the cover art for her album. “I can’t even tell you. I’ve never felt so much love for a project than I do for this one. hope you feel what I feel.”

Back in February, Eilish told talk show hostStephen Colbert that she had recorded a full-length album during the pandemic, which she exclusively produced along with her brother, Finneas. So, it’s safe to assume that this new 16-track album, Happier Than Ever, is that project Eilish had mentioned.
This will be the artist’s first full project release since her 2019 debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, even though she has released standalone singles like “My Future,” “Therefore I Am,” her James Bond theme “No Time to Die,” and her Record of the Year winner “Everything I Wanted.”
