BLACKPINK made its US debut at the 2022 MTV VMAs on Sunday (August 28), and it was all sorts of amazing.
Blinks both old and new were treated to a show-stopping performance of the band’s new single, “Pink Venom,” which is out now. Rosé, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo donned in pink and black outfits for their big moment, with background dancers and pink smoke surrounding them for the iconic moment.
“Pink Venom” is the group’s single from their upcoming album, Born Pink, set to be released September 16th. The smash hit became Spotify’s most streamed song by a female artist in a single day this year when it debuted in August and has over 200 million YouTube views.

According to Billboard, the group of four is heavily involved in making their upcoming album.
Jisoo, 27, told the media outlet, “We are involved from the beginning, building the blocks, adding this or that feeling, exchanging feedback — and this process of creating makes me feel proud of our music. If we just received pre-made songs, it would feel mechanical. I feel more love for the process because we say, ‘How about adding this in the lyrics? How about adding this move in the choreography?’”
Shortly after leaving the stage, the girl group returned to snag the Best Metaverse Performance award for their PUBG collaboration “Ready For Love,” with Lisa also winning best K-Pop for her solo “LALISA.”
In her acceptance speech, the songstress thanked the pop group’s fan base for making it happen, stating, “… Blinks! I mean, you’re like the most important ones. Thank you so much for making this happen. I love you…thank you for loving LALISA so much, have a good night.”

The pop group will also embark on their “Born Pink” world tour starting October 13th, stopping in North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. You can purchase tickets here.
