Turner played nine seasons for the Dodgers and was selected for his first all-star game appearance in 2017 while also being named the NLCS MVP in the same season; Turner also won a World Series ring in 2020 and was named an all-star for the second time in 2021.

The 38-year-old long-time third baseman is reportedly expected to switch positions in bean town as the Red Sox currently have one of the best young third basemen in baseball in Rafael Devers; Turner is allegedly going to be alternating between being Boston’s first baseman and designated hitter.

Turner is coming off of a terrific season in which he hit thirteen home runs, 81 RBIs, 130 hits, and had a .278 batting average.

Aside from his contributions on the field, Turner is also well-known for his efforts within the community, as he made a significant impact in the Los Angeles community primarily through his foundation, the Justin Turner Foundation, alongside his wife, Kourtney.

With that said, Turner was named the 2022 Roberto Clemente Award Winner, which is given annually to the individual who contributes to his community the most.
