TikTok star Bryce Hall has cleared the air after he spent the weekend under fire for looking cozy and happy with Loren Gray, who isn’t his girlfriend, Addison Rae.
A TikTok and a YouTube video were making their rounds around social media, where paparazzi “caught” Bryce and Loren having a meal together and holding hands—all whilst Bryce is supposed to be dating Addison.
However, many followers were quick to point out how staged the videos looked so they immediately dismissed the idea that Bryce was cheating on Addison and thought that he was probably filming a prank video. The speculation became more likely to be true after a few fans could spot the microphone attached to Bryce’s tank top.
Turns out those fans hit it right on the nose!
Bryce uploaded his new YouTube video where he filmed the moments that lead to his prank. He starts off the video with him prefacing that this prank could either go downhill or be “the prank of the century.”
“I feel like it’s already kind of put out in the world, at least to my haters, that I’m a cheating scumbag,” Bryce says, “So, I’m gonna be pranking the media into thinking that I’m a cheating scumbag.”
He then FaceTimes Loren to explain the prank he wants to pull off and she agrees to help him out with it. Bryce ensures his viewers that both of their significant others, in this case, Addison for him, were fine with what they were about to do.
To make sure the prank goes well, Bryce then contacts his friend and photographer, Kevin Wong, and asks him if he’d like to be the paparazzi that catches them in the act.
“I haven’t been in a scandal in a while, so I feel like it’s just that time, you know? Now, we need a paparazzi that we can trust to make this completely believable,” Bryce shared.
Then the rest is, of course, history!
News outlets somehow get a hold of the story and pretty soon the internet was up in flames wondering if Bryce is really cheating on Addison.
Bryce ends the video on a high note and gifts Addison a $70,000 diamond chain for Valentine’s Day.
