“My Oh My” did Camila Cabello dish new details on the latest Carpool Karaoke with James Corden!
Last night (April 19), The Late Late Show with James Corden shared their latest carpool karaoke with the 25-year-old pop singer. The talk show host and “Living Proof” songstress danced and sang to some of the stars hit songs including “Havana” and “Don’t Go Yet.”
During the drive, Cabello revealed the real reason why she decided to audition for The X Factor USA in 2012.
“I’m auditioning for X-Factor because I will marry Harry Styles,” she jokingly revealed.
For those who don’t know, before she became a big pop star, Cabello was just like us. Fangirling over boyband One Direction and in particular Harry Styles, Cabello’s whole reasoning for auditioning for The X Factor USA was because she figured that if she were to make it on the show, she would have a better shot at meeting Styles since that was the show where the boyband was formed.
And although the two didn’t meet on The X Factor, they eventually met later down the line as both became huge pop stars.
Cabello also shared her thoughts on her former group Fifth Harmony. Corden asked the singer, “Is there any bit of you that misses being in a band?”
Cabello was truthful in her response saying, “Honestly, no. But there are no hard feelings for me about it because we were so young. I’m such a different person than that time. There were some really fun times there too, for sure!”
She revealed that it was difficult splitting creative decisions in five ways, which Corden stopped her and said, “You were about to say money, be honest.” Cabello laughed as she said, “I was.”
