Derrick Henry and the Titans Travel to Lambeau Field to Take On Aaron Rodgers and the Packers on Thursday Night Football

Two of the top players to ever play their respective positions, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers are set to face off on Thursday Night Football. Each team is coming off a win and has been playing their best football as of late.

The 6-3 Titans come into this week eleven battle with a fully healthy Ryan Tannehill; Tannehill returned in the team’s 17-10 week ten win against the Broncos. He came back after missing the previous two games and finished the win with 255 yards through the air, and two touchdown passes.

Of course, the Titans always emphasize the run game because they have Henry, arguably the best running back in the league right now and arguably the greatest ever. Henry has had another phenomenal season as he currently sits second in the league in yards at 923 and touchdowns at nine.

With that said, the Titans will need Tannehill to have another performance like last week’s, in which he did a great job against an elite defense in the Broncos. The question now becomes will Tannehill be able to repeat that performance against another elite defense like the Packers? We shall see.

As for the Packers, Aaron Rodgers and co had their most exciting outing to date last week in an absolute explosion for rookie wideout Christian Watson; Watson finished Green Bay’s 31-28 week ten victory against the Cowboys with four catches for 107 yards and three touchdowns. Something of note, those touchdown catches came after multiple drops by the young wideout to begin the game, which shows the maturity of Watson and Rodgers’ trust in the rookie.

The Titans defense has done a terrific job this season, so Watson will be tested once again to see if he can put up back-to-back standout performances after missing a few games due to injury. Someone to watch in the Titans defense is rookie cornerback Roger McCreary who has done a tremendous job so far in his young career. It will be fascinating to see two talented rookies battle against one another.

As for some predictions, we believe the Titans will come out on top with a final score of 35-34 in a high-scoring affair in the cold weather in Green Bay; we also believe Derrick Henry will rush for at least 130 yards and two touchdowns.
