After a very successful 2022-23 season, the Miami Dolphins are off to an impressive start to their offseason as the team traded for all-pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long. Ramsey is set to be paired with a fellow all-pro CB in Xavien Howard and young stud Kader Kohou.
Ramsey joins Miami after spending four seasons with the Rams in which he won a Super Bowl, was named a first-team all-pro selection twice and was named a Pro Bowler in all four seasons with the team. Ramsey is coming off a season in which he had four interceptions with a career-high 88 tackles and two sacks.

To step away from the stats, Ramsey is known for being one of the most competitive players in all of football. He will do whatever it takes for his team to win and is also one of the brightest defensive backs in the league.
As for Miami, this move solidifies them even more as a title contender for next season after a very eye-opening performance last season. Ramsey joins a Dolphins defense filled with many stars, such as Christian Wilkins, Jevon Holland, Jaelan Phillips, Bradley Chubb, Brandon Jones, Zach Sieler.
This is not the first significant move made by the team to improve their defense, as they recently hired one of the top defensive coordinators in the NFL, Vic Fangio. Fangio now has another piece to work with as he game plans for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

This is the fourth all-pro player acquired by Miami within the last year, as the Dolphins picked up multiple all-pros last March with the trade for Tyreek Hill and the signing of Terron Armstead. The team also traded for Bradley Chubb during the season and now have landed Ramsey.
