Ella Langley, Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson Dominate with Most Nominations at 60th ACM Awards

Saddle up, y’all — award season just got a whole lot hotter!

The nominations for the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards are officially in, and we’re not kidding when we say it’s gonna be one of the most iconic shows in country music history.

The glamorous, boot-stompin’ bash is going down LIVE from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on Thursday, May 8 at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT/5 p.m. PDT — streaming exclusively on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, so no excuses… y’all better be watching.

And get this — Queen Reba McEntire (yes, THE Reba) is hosting the milestone celebration. Honestly? Name a more legendary host. We’ll wait.

Ella Langley is riding into the ACMs like a total boss with eight nominations (yes, EIGHT), making her the most-nominated artist this year. Her duet with Riley Green, “you look like you love me,” is cleaning up across the board with nods in Single, Song, Visual Media and Music Event of the Year. Can someone say breakout moment?!

Close behind her are Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson with seven noms each, and every single one of them is coming in hot. From Cody doubling up in Visual Media of the Year (he’s literally competing against himself) to Lainey scoring her first-ever Artist-Songwriter nom (hello, queen of country consistency), this race is tighter than your fave pair of cowboy boots.

Oh, and Post Malone — yes, the face-tatted genre-blender we all love — snagged five nominations, thanks to his collab with Wallen on the smash hit “I Had Some Help.”

This year, Kelsea Ballerini scored her first ever Entertainer of the Year nomination (!!) alongside noms for Female Artist and Music Event, while Luke Combs is one win away from joining the Triple Crown Club — aka country royalty. Chris Stapleton keeps racking up with his 10th Male Artist of the Year nomination, and Shaboozey is officially that guy with noms for Best New Male Artist and Single of the Year for “A Bar Song (Tipsy)”. Oh, and Rascal Flatts is BACK in the mix for Group of the Year for the first time since 2017. Nostalgia, anyone?

The past 365 days introduced us to a ton of fresh faces in the world of country music, and we are so here for it. Rising stars like Dasha, Jessie Murph, Zach Top, Treaty Oak Revival, Gavin Adcock, and The Red Clay Strays are making waves and nabbing their very first ACM nominations. Get these names on your playlists stat — they’re coming for those trophies.

With Old Dominion, Brothers Osborne, Little Big Town, and more legends in the mix, the 60th ACMs are truly giving us the perfect blend of new school and old school — all with a lil’ sparkle and twang.

A very limited number of tickets are still available on SeatGeek for anyone looking to see the action in person. Just imagine singing your heart out while Lainey Wilson, Blake Shelton, and Eric Church take the stage live. So get your boots, rhinestones, and red carpet looks ready — because the 60th ACM Awards are shaping up to be the event of the season. And trust us, Celeb Secrets will be covering every iconic moment.
