Katie Thurston and Michelle Young are set to be ABC’s next leading ladies!

The two will have their own respective season of The Bachelorette, both planned to air in 2021🌹Thurston is set to go first and will be tacking Season 17, while Young will be dominating Season 18. These two seasons will go down in history, as the franchise has never had two “Bachelorette” seasons in the same year. Bachelor In Paradise will be taking place this summer in order to break up each season with Thurston and Young.

“I’m ready to find love and not just the temporary kind. I’m talking forever, my husband,” Katie said on the “After the Final Rose” episode. “I’m in a place in my life where I feel like I’m the best version of me. I‘ve seen [this process] work before. Why shouldn’t it work for me?”

Harrison will not be hosting the upcoming 17th season, as former Bachelorette Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will step in as guest hosts.

“Chris Harrison will not be hosting the next season of The Bachelorette,” says ABC Entertainment and Warner Horizon said in a joint statement. “We support Chris in the work that he is committed to doing.”
