SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT read if you have not yet watched the March 15 episode of “The Bachelor!”
Season 25 of The Bachelor is officially over and it’s no secret that the “After The Final Rose” segment might have been the most dramatic, hard-hitting, and may I even say historical one yet! The world was introduced to Emmanuel Acho, the TV host and former athlete “sitting in” for Chris Harrison during the season finale on Monday, March 15 and he blew Bachelor Nation away.
Whether it was his immaculate delivery, how he tackled sensitive topics, his unbelievable interviewing skills, or swoon-worthy tight-fitted suit, Acho conquered the “After The Final Rose” with grace and confidence which gained the respect of reality TV fanatics everywhere.
“There is a lot to talk about, especially after racially insensitive images surfaced from Rachael Kirkconnell’s past,” says Acho in a beautiful tea-light candle Thunderdome. “And we certainly have to address Chris Harrison’s defense of insensitivity in his interview with Rachel Lindsay, for which he has since apologized.”
He kicked off the ATFR in a direct way in order to prepare Bachelor Nation for an unusual, yet necessary discussion. “My hope is that if we can talk openly and honestly,” says Acho, “we can take important steps toward mutual understanding and healing.” After covering all the important bases in his introduction, the heartthrob also mentioned that we will whiteness awkward interactions between the contestants, closure between Matt and Michelle, and most importantly find out who our two new Bachelorettes are!
