JoJo Siwa and Suni Lee are ready to put on their dancing shoes!
The triple threat and Olympic gold medalist are the first two confirmed celebrities that will be making their way to the ballroom for season 30 for Dancing With The Stars, as it was announced earlier today (August 26) by ABC during their TCA Summer Press Tour panel.
It was also revealed that the series will be hitting a major milestone this season, as Siwa, an open member of the LGBTQ+ community, will be partnered with another pro female dancer. This marks the first same-sex couple to compete for the mirrorball trophy since the show premiered on ABC 16 years ago.

“I can now spread the message: “‘you can dance with whoever you want to dance with'” and make it normal for people around the world to see a girl dance with a girl especially since I usually don’t do anything normal.” Siwa told GMA.
As for Suni Lee, she will be using her skills from the gym to hopefully help grace her way across the stage. While she previously announced that she would be attending Auburn University this fall, the 18-year-old shared that she will move to online classes so she can focus on both her studies and dance rehearsals in Los Angeles.

The remainder of the celebrity cast is expected to be announced on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 8th. Resident judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman and Derek Hough are all expected to return for another season, as well as new host Tyra Banks. Celebrity and pro pairings will not be revealed until the season 30 premiere later in September.
