Daniella Monet hangs out with CelebSecrets4U at the AwesomenessTV Headquarters on Tuesday afternoon in Los Angeles, Calif.
Nickelodeon will debut AwesomenessTV, a new sketch comedy series, on Monday, July 1, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Hosted by Daniella Monet (Victorious), the 13-episode, half-hour rapid-fire sketch comedy series showcases a combination of new and existing content from one of the fastest-growing teen/tween internet channels with more than 1 billion views, AwesomenessTV. The series features a variety of segments including character sketches, celebrity satires and parody music videos. It will air regularly Mondays at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
In the premiere episode, Terry the Tomboy (Lia Marie Johnson) offers fashion and beauty advice, which includes using dirt as make-up, in her “Guide to Summer Style.” We follow Debbie Klucksman (Sydney Park, Instant Mom), a teenage girl with online popularity, as she is forced to walk a virtual mile in her unhip mother’s shoes when they switch social profiles in “Freaky #FollowFriday.” In a music video parody, “I Knew You Were Stubble,” MadMoni sing about their trouble with unwanted facial hair.
Check out our interview with Daniella below, along with a sneak preview to Monday’s episode! We’re SO excited to see our friends at AwesomenessTV go from YouTube to cable!
