First Look At A24’s Supernatural Horror Film, ‘Talk To Me’ (WATCH)

Who’s ready to be spooked?

A24 has recently released the official trailer for the supernatural horror-thriller, Talk To Me.

The film was originally premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, which has now allowed Mark and Danny Philippou to officially make their directorial debut. The Philippou twins initially shot to fame with their RackaRacka Youtube Channel, so to have the film shown in theaters is exciting to say the least.

The film will release in theaters nationwide on July 28.

Talk To Me follows Mia (Sophie Wilde), who’s determined to communicate with the supernatural realm in order to distract herself from her mother’s death. Mia attends a party hosted by Hayley (Zoe Terakes) and Joss (Chris Alosio), where kids play a supernatural game involving an embalmed hand which promises direct communication to the spirit realm. However, the rule is to not hold the hand for longer than ninety seconds, leading to severe consequences if the rule isn’t followed. A series of sinister events takes places, causing the wall between the living and the supernatural to crumble, leaving Mia to undo the damage before it’s irreversible.

Other cast members of the film include Miranda Otto, Jett Gazley, Otis Dhanji, Alexandra Jensen, Jess Kuss, Jodie Dry, Ari McCarthy, Cass Cumerford, Harli Ames, Sarah Brokensha and Marcus Johnson.
