Some heartbreaking news was revealed on October 6 as Terri Lee, mother of former WWE Wrestler Sara Lee, revealed that her daughter passed away at the young age of 30.
No cause of death has been revealed yet, but it is known that Lee had been battling a sinus infection, as she shared in her final Instagram post.

However, this does not indicate that the sinus infection played a role in her death, as no cause has been revealed, as previously stated.
In 2015, Sara competed on the WWE show “Tough Enough” and ended up being one of the winners of the competition show’s sixth season. Lee would be granted a one-year $250,000 contract with the WWE after her win. Lee and Josh Bredl were chosen as winners out of fourteen participants, making the wins stand out even more as they each earned their way to becoming professional wrestlers in the ultimate professional wrestling league in the WWE.
WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Sara Lee. As a former "Tough Enough" winner, Lee served as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans. pic.twitter.com/jtjjnG52n7

Lee’s WWE career would come to a close in 2016, and she ended up getting married the following year, in 2017, to Wesley Blake, a former WWE wrestler himself. Blake and Lee would go on to have three children together.
This is an unfortunate situation, and we pray that Sara, Wesley, their children, the rest of her loved ones, and her fans find strength and peace at such a trying time. Sara will always be remembered for her great run on Tough Enough but, most importantly, as a great mother and daughter.
