Epic Records artist Rence just dropped a music video for his new single, “Endless,” and we truly wish it never ended!
The song is Rence’s way of opening up about the question of his place within the world and the universe.
“It attempts to come to grips with how fame and success affect someone,” Rence reveals, “And how one changes over time, especially as each day begins to feel like the last.”
At the beginning of the music video, it features Rence sitting on a chair in a living room, staring mindlessly into the television. The frame slowly zooms into the screen of the TV and transports viewers into the TV universe, along with Rence as well! As Rence follows a young woman, he is found entering through different eras of television.
As you travel along with Rence, you begin to feel as if it is almost never-ending. Feeling as if he’ll never reach the woman. The music video ends abruptly as Rence is singing, it cuts him off as he’s trying to reach the woman and sings, “End.” This is a great form of the symbolism of the message Rence is trying to convey: “Inevitably, however, the answers to these questions don’t come – the questions themselves are endless.”
