Get To Know Triple Threat Reese Warren (Q&A)

Whether Reese Warren is co-hosting her series The Artist’s Report on The Artist’s Project YouTube channel with Ryker Baloun, reporting for FTS Kids News, or sharing her voice for a new voice acting project, at only 11-years-old, she may carry a lot on her plate but at least she’s excelling at it.

Amongst juggling all those different projects, Warren also manages to stay on top of her school work and her other training which includes acting, music, and dance lessons.

“I think at this moment my favorite things are my music and voice acting. I love to sing and play my guitar. Voice acting is so fun. I hope to voice a regular on a series and do my music during my show breaks,” Warren shares.

The young triple-threat first became interested in the entertainment industry when she was only three years old. She watched her first episode of TLC’s hit reality show, Toddlers & Tiaras, and won her first pageant show at that age and knew that she belonged on stage.

Along with being a reporter and co-host, Warren also acts and sings. Her acting credits include Ace & the Christmas Miracle, Becoming A Hero, and School House Blues and is currently working on some original music.

She shares that her biggest musical inspirations include Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Miranda Lambert, Dan & Shay because of her own country-pop style and admires the acting work of Stranger Things’ Millie Bobbie Brown.

Celeb Secrets: Hi, Reese! How are you doing? What have you been up to during this weird time?

Reese Warren: “Hi! I am great! I have been busier during COVID than ever! I have been in two movies, shot tons of YouTube videos, created original music, and managed to stay on top of my school and all of my other training. I have a crazy schedule, but I love it.”

CS: For any of our readers who don’t already know about you, could you tell us a little bit more about yourself?

RW: “Sure! I’m Reese. I live in beautiful Murrieta, California but I am based in LA. I have a BIG family. I am the youngest of 6 kids! I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. We are a close family. We do lots of things together, like go on vacations and celebrate birthdays. I love all animals! I used to have a pet pig. His Name was Waddles. He had to go live at Grandma’s because he got too big for my backyard. He passed away last year and I miss him very much. My cat Hershey is my partner in crime. She hangs out with me, sleeps on my bed, and loves to play with hair ties with me.”

CS: So, you sing, act, dance, and host. Is there one that you love doing more than the other?

RW: “I think at this moment my favorite things are my music and voice acting. I love to sing and play my guitar. Voice acting is so fun. I hope to voice a regular on a series and do my music during my show breaks.”

CS: What sparked your interest in the entertainment industry?

RW: “When I was three years old I saw an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras and told my mom I wanted to do that. Ever since I won my first pageant when I was three, I have wanted to be on stage and perform.”

CS: You’re also a co-host for The Artist’s Project YouTube channel and a reporter for FTS Kids News, how did you get into those gigs?

RW: “My friend Ryker Baloun helped me get both of those jobs. He brought me to The Artist’s Project and introduced me to Michael Bezjian, the founder of TAP. We hit it off and he presented the TAP medallion to me. I started working with TAP from that day and soon I had the co-hosting job with Ryker. For FTS Kids News, Ryker referred me to Nicole Butler, the president. She took a chance on me and from that point on, I have been able to work with them and be a part of some awesome interviews and reporting.”

CS: Who are your influences for singing and acting? Why?

RW: “My influences for singing are Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Miranda Lambert, and Dan & Shay to name a few. I am a country-pop artist, I like a good story and good harmony. My main acting influence is Millie Bobby Brown. She is an amazing actress and still a teenager. I appreciate her work very much.”

CS: Are you currently working on any acting projects you’d like to share with us?

RW: “I am doing a lot of voice acting right now and I absolutely love it! You may hear me on a series soon.”

CS: What about any music projects? Can we expect to hear anything from you soon?

RW: “Yes! I am working on original music. I actually go into the studio this month to record my first original song.”

CS: Besides singing/acting/dancing, etc., what are some other things you enjoy doing?

RW: “When I am not honing my skills doing acting, music, and dance classes, you can find me hanging out with my family and friends. I like to travel, go camping, ride my back, go roller skating and just chill out and watch anime.”

CS: Who are your inspirations? Your role models?

RW: “My inspirations and role models are Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.”

CS: If you could do absolutely anything right now if we weren’t dealing with the pandemic, what would that be and why?

RW: “I would go to the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville with all my friends and family and have a huge party and go to the waterpark.”

CS: Since we are Celeb Secrets. Is there anything you could share with us that no one else knows about?

RW: “I have a slight fear of heights.”
