Here’s Everything You Need To Know About Disney’s Upcoming Series “The Mysterious Benedict Society”

Disney+ reveals a trailer for The Mysterious Benedict Society, a brand new original series set to join our go-to platform for heartwarming childhood throwbacks. Announced just in time to kick off National Streaming Day, the news couldn’t come at a better time!

The up-and-coming show will follow the lives of four gifted orphans as they’re recruited onto a global mission while attending a peculiar academy. According to a press release from Disney+, these school-aged children will be entrusted with saving the world from a crisis called The Emergency by infiltrating an institute and defeating evil headmaster Dr. Curtain.

Although it sounds like a fantastic opportunity, protecting the masses surely comes with a fair share of dangers. United as “The Benedict Society,” the selected group of young prodigies will work together to swerve any harm while sparking greater good.

After dropping earlier today, the trailer has already attracted thousands of views followed by many enthusiastic comments. In the brief clip that spans for only one minute and 30 seconds, we’re introduced to a preppy organization that’s in search of the most honest, intellectually-driven children. Right away, we’re intrigued by the dystopian aura and finicky professors.

“Our organization is always searching for those who appreciate the truth,” says the narrator. Then, a teacher dressed in a bright yellow ensemble goes on to mistakenly announce cheaters will be “executed, e-e-e-excused!”

The lively cast will feature appearances from Tony Hale, Kristen Schaal, Ryan Hurst, MaameYaa Boafo, Gia Sandhu, Seth Carr, Emmy DeOliveira, Mystic Inscho and Marta Kessler

Mark your calendars for June 25 because that’s when The Mysterious Benedict Society official starts streaming via Disney+! Until then, let us know your thoughts by leaving a reaction below or tweeting @celebsecrets.
