Born and raised New Yorker Jackson Harris is a multi-talented singer/songwriter, who just released a new single “Feels Like” along with music video.
“Feels Like” is about falling in love, the multitude of feelings you inquire when you’re on a first date. The song was inspired by his most recent relationship. When they went on their first date he could feel himself falling in love with her. He wanted to remember these feelings, so he wrote them down on his phone and turned it into a song.
The video shares and follows a couple on a date, sharing their experiences, getting to know each other across the streets of New York, and the feelings he gets when he finally drops her off at the front door. The excitement, the nervousness, and the pure happiness of knowing they have the same feelings back.
This music video is different from the rest for Jackson because he not only starred in it, but he co-produced and co-directed the video. The video has a raw feeling and look, which of it is because most of the video was improvised, according to Jackson.
It’s a video anyone can or has related to.
