Jessica Biel is FINALLY Opening Up About Her “Secret COVID Baby” with Husband Justin Timberlake

Jessica Biel is officially a mom of two!

The actress recently appeared on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, where she revealed that she welcomed her now 11-month-old son Phineas with husband Justin Timberlake during the Coronavirus pandemic. Things have been kept on the DL — until now — but it wasn’t originally supposed to be that way.

“It wasn’t like it was supposed to be a secret,” she said to Shepard. “It was just COVID happened, and then I went to Montana with my family and never left.”

Biel explained that she was concerned about changes that came with COVID. “The hospital restrictions had just changed,” she said. “And there was a moment there that there was nobody allowed at all, and I was really getting nervous about that situation.”

However, as it turns out, Timberlake was able to be present for the birth of Phineas.

This will be the couple’s second son after their 6-year-old, Silas, and Biel sounds happy to be a family of four.

“It’s amazing. It’s so interesting. It’s so funny. The conversations I’m having now with my 6-year-old is so cool. Like, he’s a real person saying the funniest stuff, and he’s so sensitive and tender. It’s just so interesting to see that part of it happen, and the little one is just cute as hell.”

Biel also spoke out about the possibility of her sons following her and her husband’s footsteps and pursuing the arts.

“My knee-jerk reaction is: Oh, god, no. Please no,” Biel admitted. “But then I look at these kids, and I’m like: Oh, sh*t. They’re probably going to be musical. What are you going to do — not let them play the piano? Or not let them take voice lessons if that’s their passion?”

She is especially concerned if her sons want to follow in their father’s footsteps and become musicians.

“The bar is high. And they’re boys. I worry about [them worrying]: ‘I can never be as good as my dad.’ Please, god let them better,” she laughed, “That’s what’s daunting, for sure.”

She and Justin are, however, very supportive of their boys. “We just like to be together. The family unit together is really supportive for the boys. And it’s really nurturing for me [and] it’s really nurturing for him.”
