Joe Jonas Wants To Follow In Taylor Swift’s Foot Steps And Re-Record The First Jonas Brothers Album

Are you ready to feel nostalgic?

Joe Jonas is currently feeling inspired by Taylor Swift, as he recently told BuzzFeed that he would love to re-release the first-ever Jonas Brothers album.

During the exclusive interview, the boy band heartthrob also name-dropped musicians that he would like to collaborate with.

The brother’s debut album, It’s About Timewas released August 8, 2006 – featuring their popular songs “Mandy“, “Year 3000“, and “Underdog.” Shortly after the release, the 11- track album became chart-topping. It’s About Time, scored 91 on the Billboard 200 charts, and sold a total of 67,000 copies.

Joe Jonas made it clear that the brilliant idea was inspired by the country-turned-pop artist, Taylor Swift. “Just do something like what Taylor [Swift] did recently, which I thought was really clever.”

Taylor Swift re-recorded and recently released her very first record Fearless. However, the icon dropped the collection of songs under Fearless (Taylor’s Version.)

To shake things up a bit, Taylor surprised Swifties with new songs from “the vault.” The recently released collection that hit streaming platforms back in April include – “Mr. Perfectly Fine,” “We Were Happy,” and “You All Over Me.”

While the JoBros decide on whether or not to bring their fans back to their childhood with an updated version of It’s About Time, they also hope to collaborate with emerging musicians to create new content.

Joe Jonas revealed to BuzzFeed that the band is interested in working with Olivia Rodrigo and Lil Nas X. “I think they are crushing it and they’re authentic artists who are making changes in the music industry, in the pop world, that we all need,” says Jonas when asked why he would choose Rodrigo and Nas.
