Keltie Knight Gives Ariana Madix One Piece of Advice Ahead of Broadway Debut as Roxie Hart in “Chicago” (Exclusive)

Keltie Knight has some advice for Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix.

The 41-year-old on-air correspondent and host of the female-centric LadyGang podcast recently made her Broadway dreams come true when she played Roxie with the Chicago cast for a one-time, one-song performance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade last month. Now, Madix Madix is making her debut in Chicago in 2024, where she’ll play Roxie Hart at the Ambassador Theatre for an eight-week run, and Knight spilled to Celeb Secrets one thing she should know before making her way to the bright lights of Broadway.

“She doesn’t need it after seeing her on Dancing With The Stars. She needs no tips. But now, I know the team at Chicago, David Bushman the dance captain, Rob Bowman the musical director.. Like, it’s really hard work,” Knight tells Celeb Secrets host Alexandra Bellusci on the red carpet at the American Ballet Theatre’s Holiday Benefit in Beverly Hills, Calif. last week (December 11).

“I think my advice would be like if you thought Dancing With The Stars was hard, get ready because I think so many times stars don’t realize what eight shows a week is like and I’m a former Radio City Rockette, and we did sometimes four shows a day. Your body is just different so it’s going to be probably the hardest thing she’ll ever do in her life but I know that she has a background in theater so this has been a lifelong dream and it must feel so amazing and I will definitely be in the audience.”

Her words for Tom Sandoval? Knight says, “Her exes? Check her exes because girl is living. Check the exes because girl is Dancing With The Stars Broadway star.”

Madix is joining the cast of Chicago beginning Monday, January 29th, 2024 at the Ambassador Theatre for an eight-week limited run through March 24th. She’s replacing Charlotte d’Amboise and joins cast Kimberly Marable (Velma Kelly), Lili Thomas (Matron “Mama Morton), Max von Essen (Billy Flynn), James T. Lane (Amos Hart), R. Lowe (Mary Sunshine) and Max Clayton (Fred Casely). You can purchase tickets here.
