Khloé Kardashian Slams Body Shamers Amid Unedited Bikini Pic Drama

Khloé Kardashian is smashing controversial photoshop comments on Instagram.

In her latest post that’s already garnered over 4.5-million likes, the reality TV star takes a jab at all the body shamers who don’t seem to understand the concept of bad lighting. Plus, she manages to prove the doubters wrong by flaunting her curves on live footage — a bold yet inspirational move.

To set the record straight, Khloé strikes with not one, but TWO video clips of her summer-ready body. “Yes I did a live to show you all this isn’t photoshopped,” she reveals in the caption. Then, Khloé follows up with a snapshot that highlights a few positive Instagram live comments, making it very clear that she has a lot to be proud of both in real-time and on the big screen.

“This is a response to the haters lol,” one of the live viewers comments, hinting at the idea that all the photoshop speculations have clearly been gnawing away at Khloé’s self-image.

Khloé doesn’t only let the evidence speak for itself this time. She goes on to share four pages of heart-felt text that truly encapsulate her struggles with self-love, dishing why it’s so important for her to feel truly confident in each and every photo she puts up on the worldwide web.

“I am not perfect but I promise you that I try everyday to live my life as honestly as possible and with empathy and kindness,” she explains in the written statement. “It doesn’t mean that I have not made mistakes. But I am not going to lie. It’s almost unbearable trying to live up to the impossible standards that the public have all set for me.”

On top of generating an immensely positive response from fans, several verified talents have come out to express their support for Khloé in the midst of all this turmoil.

Canadian TV personality Olivia Pierson wrote: “LOVE YOU GORGEOUS GIRL INSIDE & OUT,” followed by a long row of heart emojis.

Sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner couldn’t resist hopping to the trend as well, by praising their hard-working sister while speaking up about their love for Khloé.

Definitely not ‘the fat sister’

By comparing good photo filters and lighting to other self-enhancement practices like simply getting your nails done, Khloé certainly helps us see her perspective through a new prism. It’s really too bad so many nay-sayers weren’t aware of her emotional ties to the way she’s publicly portrayed before all this drama played out.

“For over a decade now in photos, every single flaw and imperfection has been micro-analyzed and made fun of to the smallest detail,” Khloé says.

What’s more heart-breaking is that Khloé reveals she’s faced several negative critiques over the years that still stand out in her mind to this day. Some of the harmful statements she lists include “Khloé is the fat sister” and “Khloé is the ugly sister.”

Although we believe these comments are about as far from the truth as you can possibly get, we’re still sorry to hear one of our favourite T.V. icons has been struggling mentally due to all this flack.

If you’ve been MIA on social media over the past week, you may be a tad confused about where all this controversy stems from. It all ignited roughly two days ago (April 5) when Khloé accidentally posted a personal bikini shot that didn’t live up to her standards.

Khloé immediately took it down the unedited photo, but that didn’t stop copies from spreading like wildfire. To limit the spread of these unauthorized images, Kardashian camp was forced to threaten legal action which of course sparked a great deal of debate among her haters.

We think it’s so brave of Khloé to stand against these doubters, showing us we’re all entitled to have different versions of ourselves and the photos we wish to share ultimately come down to personal preferences, not media preferences.
