The band pulled inspiration from the COVID-19 pandemic, the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, and several groundbreaking current events to craft songs such as “Nobody’s Love.” Other songs include “Lost,” a tribute to finding love in a lonely world, and upbeat romance cliches such as “Lovesick.”
An impressive lineup of artists were included in this album, including Megan Thee Stallion, Bantu, Stevie Nicks, and the ghost of Juice WRLD. Currently the highest streamed track of the album on Spotify, “Beautiful Mistake” can attribute its success to Megan’s rhythmic energy and excellence. “Remedy” features Stevie Nicks and finds itself as a soft-rock catchy tune.
Despite a great line up of artists and the band’s years of success, the album was met with disappointment and criticism from the public. Jon Dolan of Rolling Stone Magazine emphasized that “[what] the album could use is a few more drink-clinking splashes of summertime fun..[and] whether it’s trying to be light, serious, or somewhere in the middle, Jordi can only get it done in half-measures.”

Alexis Petridis from The Guardian claimed that the album was “nothing you would describe as novel in the music or lyrics…[and that the band was] reliant on guest artists to inject personality and songwriters and producers to come up with the goods.”
