With the release of Black Widow inching closer, Marvel is starting to kick off its promotional run by releasing six new character posters, giving us the best look yet at the main cast including the villain Taskmaster, as well as Natasha Romanoff’s (Scarlett Johansson) found “family. Black Widow is set to premiere in theatres and on Disney+ in July and will take place between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.
The film will follow Natasha as she returns to Russia to take care of some unfinished business and ends up reuniting with her adopted family including her sister Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), her father, a Russian super-soldier aka Red Guardian (David Harbour), and mother, Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz), a spy and previously held the role of Black Widow.
This release will begin Phase 4 of Marvel‘s ongoing cinematic universe and will be followed by the release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in September and Eternals in November.
