All The Signs That Prove *NSYNC May Be Reuniting At The MTV VMAs

Is *NSYNC reuniting tonight (Sept.12) at the 2023 MTV VMAs?

The highly anticipated award show is just hours away, and the early 2000s boyband has been leaving buzz-worthy clues on social media.

Fans are speculating that the hitmakers will be reuniting tonight at the star-studded show, since members Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass have been spotted in New York City.

Timberlake was seen at the US Open, Fatone was taking pictures with fans and Bass was seen grabbing a few drinks in Manhattan. JC Chasez was also captured in a  private plane. However, his destination has yet to be confirmed.

According to TMZ, the band will be presenting at the VMAs. The televised event will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. While the men will be stepping in as presenters, it is still  unclear if they are performing.

There’s also another sign of a potential performance.

Timberlake’s latest movie Trolls has the first letter of the band’s name, but the full song hasn’t been released yet. Trolls Band Together posters were placed around NYC – with their first letter of their logo – and a QR code which then takes you to this site.

Zooey Deschanel, Camila Cabello, Amy Schumer, Kid Cudi, RuPaul Charles and many more are expected to star in the movie.

The band previously reunited at the VMAs in 2013 for Timberlake’s Video Vanguard Award medley. This year marks the 10th anniversary of that performance – and just over 20 years since their last musical release.

Rumors of their potential performance have been sweeping the streets for over a week now. Joseph Fatone, Joey Fatone’s father, confirmed that the show will be conducted as usual.

“I couldn’t even say why he’s doing it though,” said the son. “Why, at this point in his life. Now he’s his own man.”
